I can finally give a sigh of relief - the much dreaded O levels are over. What's left is the Physics and Chemistry Paper 1.

Ok I know it has been ages since I blogged something interesting.. Well these few days, I've been scouring the streets for interesting stuff to inspire me to blog!

First, reaching Tampines mall, I went to check out this newly opened shop selling heels and sandals..

Was pretty disappointed at my finds.. Most of the heels there weren't even pretty, and a tad too exaggerated for wearing out.

-

Went to Mini-Bits to get new accessories.. And I saw this woman in her thirties, trying to reach for a pair of earrings from 1 of the top rows..

-

What made me stiffle a giggle was that her panties was totally lopsided.

-

One side was pulled up really high, and the other side couldn't be seen at all.

Well apparently, showing one's undies in public is still a hot trend.

Went to Dohby Guart for dinner with my darling yesterday evening, had a really good dinner. (Will blog again)

The train was really crowded on the way back, so this man tried to barge his way in although the door was already closing.

And the funny part was that his head got stuck in between the closing doors, while his body was still outside the train.

He was desperately trying to free himself while everyone stood on tip-toes trying to see what was the commotion about.

No one offered to help. Instead, I found myself hoping that the train will continue it's journey leaving the man's head stuck inside.

Wonder what would've happened... Anyway, the doors opened again, and the rude man pushed his way into the train.

Sitting infront of me was a woman, you know, those really crude type who serves beer at coffee shop ?

I had the most frightening experience for the first time in my life since living on this earth for seventeen years.

-

Went out last night to Tampines to get some stuff done, and I decided to walk back home since it was quite windy after the rain.

I walked from Tamp block 459++ to 201 and Simei.

Upon reaching home, a quick check on my watch showed it was 11pm.

After taking a shower, I was reading a book when I heard the door bell rang.. 11.40 in the night ?!

I ignored it, and 10 minutes later, the door bell rang again. Daddy went to answer the door, and out of curiosity, I went to the balcony to take a peep to see who was it.

Daddy was quite agitated at that time and I heard him saying: "Leave now or I'll call the police."

The man outside still refused to budge. When he saw me, he pointed to me and said: "Let me talk to her."

Dad refused. I went back into the study room and asked wee nee: "Whose that?"

Wee nee claimed he was looking for me.. Anyway to cut the long story short, the guy told dad that he followed me home all the way from Tampines.

And he told Dad he is: "I'm in love with her (me)." and kept asking Daddy to let him talk to me..

Dad told me that he is in his 20-s and unemployed. Police also was called down last night..

You know what's the part that freaked me out most? To be followed all the way home without even realising it.

That's the scariest part. I had plans for today, but now I'm kinda afraid to leave the house.

I hope he will not come back again..

Girls, please be careful while coming back late in the night. I have learnt a very valuable lesson yesterday.

I guess I have always been too cocky, over-confident that I can sense if someone is following me.

But last night really freaked me out.. ;-(

This particular cat has been bothering me for 3 years already.. Can't they just keep their stupid fur-ball in the house ?? -_-

Then there was this once, Lee came over to my house for lunch, and the aunty staying next door gave us a suspicious look when I greeted her.

I closed the door and was smoking in the balcony, when I heard a rustling sound outside the door. I have really sharp ears, you see.

So, I peeped outta the peep hole and saw the aunty leaning on the metal gate with her ears on the wooden door.

5 years ago, there's this malay family living next door to me, and the mom will water the plants with FISH BLOOD !!!

What logic is that ? Up to now, I can still remember the sharp copper smell of blood stinking up the whole corridor.

And, above me lives a family with a retarded son. Once in awhile when he has nothing much to do, he'll start screaming and throwing stuff around.

So after spending a couple of hours at ION Orchard, we took a cab home.

2 months anniversary..

Will upload pictures soon, camera's in my room and I'm kinda lazy to go get it.

I had alot to eat today, first was lunch at Canton Kitchen with shark fin soup and dumpling, prawn dumplings, scallop and shrimp dumpling, abalone and chicken porridge.

Next was dinner at Geylang - frog porridge, followed by dessert - the famous bean curd with you tiao.

Finished off with durains and afterwhich had green bean soup at EastPoint again.

Bet I'll put on a couple of kgs soon.. Haha.

See, I've just checked my Nuffnang accout, and the money is increasing, yes, so being one who keeps promises, I'm going to blog about my Pulau Ubin trip.

Met Reuben and Xuan Wei (ex tuition class-mates) at White Sands, and we caught a bus down to Changi.

-

Had lunch over there, Fried noodles, yummy.

-

Been years since I last stepped into Changi.. Apart from the other time whereby Jonathan drove me there for supper.

-

We swam over to Pulau Ubin.

-

Haha, I am such a liar. We took a boat over. But yes, I have a Life Saving 3 certificate in swimming. What can I say ? I am full of suprises.

-

The sky was clear, only a few wisps of clouds floating lazily around..

The motor of the boat was really noisy, so I amused myself by looking at the churning foam of the water..

-

Upon reaching the island and crossing the broardwalk, I skipped down to the beach and searched for hermit crabs..

-

Did not see any though, but I saw tens of tiny holes in the soft sand..

-

-

This is just so bloody perfect.. So tranquil..

-

For once in my whole life, thoughts about shopping was halted, and honestly, for one split micro-second, I thought about living at Pulau Ubin.

We searched for the best bicycles around.. Alot of competition there eh.. Haha..

Just when I was thinking I could really get used to Kampong life, I saw this....

What on earth !!! A headless dog !!!!

Urgh... Reuben and Xuan wei were talking to the bicycle rental uncle, I interrupted them by asking: "Hey uh, can we go shopping first ?"

They both gave me a weird look and said: "Do you know what's kampong life ?"

Me (thoughts still on the headless dog): "Duh. But can we go to the nearest shopping mall first? Cycle there or something ?"

Reuben: "Kampong got no shopping centre la."

And simultaneously, they both gave me a -_-" face..

Sobs... How am I supposed to know....

Got our bicycles, and off we went, me keeping a look-out for any local shops that they don't know about..

After half of an hour, I gave up all hope of spotting any shops and concentrated on keeping up with them..

I nearly ran over a snake..

What's with snakes entering my life twice already this past 2 weeks ?!

First time I saw a snake (apart from those at the zoo)..

I was really excited.. Hahaa.. Ok what am I expecting ? Afterall this is rural life ..

Had a short chat with one of the rangers.. Reached the HSBC museum..

I might consider living at Pulau Ubin if a second Paragon opens there..

Took a couple of pictures outside the country-house-like museum..

Saw another snake basking on a huge rock, but it slithered quickly away before I had a chance to get my camera out..

We saw a school of fishes swimming below the broadwalk, teeny little things darting about in the water.

The waters are practically glittering. Sometimes if you really take a moment to relax and enjoy your surroundings, you'll realise how beautiful God made the world to be..

Clear little pools of water and large rocks laced with moss..

There was a "No Entry" sign at the entrance of the broadwalk leading to the marsh.. :-(

I would've liked to go down and take a closer look instead of peering down from the broadwalk.

Can't help but be amazed at the muddy banks with little sprouts of sea algae growing out from it..

Maybe I have been a City Girl for too long that I've forgotten how beautiful nature can be..

A scraggy lone tree in the middle of the marsh..

Reached the 8th story bird's-eye-view tower, and we just stood there feeling the salty sea breeze, taking the sights below us..

I am disappointed to say that I was too tired to really appreciate the view..

The marshland we passed was visible from the tower.

Flock of birds overhead..

And on our way back, I saw a full grown wild boar..

First time in my whole life seeing a wild boar, especially one less than 10 metres from me..

It didn't seem bothered about the presence of humans around it, just continued nosing around in the dirt.

After returning our companions for the day (the bicycles), we took the ferry back to Changi, caught a bus back to Whitesands and a train down to Aljunied..

Had frog porridge for dinner and bean curd for dessert.. Love it.. Good company and good food's a perfect concoction to a lovely day.

So.. I had dozens of mosquito bites, nearly got bitten by a snake and killed by a wildboar (ok, I exaggerate a lil) but I really had a great experience..

What's more, it proves to Fuming lee I am not a girl all about shopping, high-tea and credit cards ok!

I love you, Lee and only you :-) Please don't be so upset anymore.. What happened to Bob wasn;t your fault. It was an accident that couldn't be prevented by anyone, muchless you.
